Postformed kitchen worktops

Woodeco postformed kitchen worktops are characterised by a gently rounded front edge, along which the finish flows seamlessly from the work surface to the front. The uniform surface, free from sharp edges, is pleasant to the touch and comfortable during everyday kitchen use. The worktop’s durability is ensured by a hard-wearing HPL laminate on P2-grade chipboard, compliant with the EN 312 standard, whilst the underside is protected by an anti-warping film. There are two edge profiles to choose from – the more pronouncedly rounded C profile and the more gently rounded E profile – allowing you to easily match the worktop to the style of your furniture design.

Discover the potential of postformed kitchen worktops

  • Production of furniture and interior fittings, primarily kitchen units with worktops.
  • Construction applications: non-structural components installed indoors in dry conditions, in accordance with EN 13986 classification.
  • Buildings where reduced material flammability is required: the worktops achieve reaction-to-fire class D-s1, d0 (limited-combustibility product).
  • Seamless continuity of the décor across the work surface and profile thanks to the use of HPL laminate, ensuring an aesthetically finished front edge.
  • Additional moisture protection in particularly exposed areas through a hydrophobic groove located on the underside of the rounded edge.
  • Resistance to everyday use, including abrasion, scratches, stains, and contact with the hot bottom of cookware (in accordance with factory standard ZN-1:2025).
  • High and consistent manufacturing quality: worktops are produced exclusively in Grade I quality (according to factory standard ZN-1:2025).
  • Low formaldehyde emissions (E1 class) and production without the addition of halogenated compounds or wood preservatives.
  • Suitable for use in rooms intended for human occupancy.
  • Profile C Features a front edge with a 5.7 mm radius, giving it a distinctly smooth and rounded appearance. Available décors include, among others, white and black finishes.
  • Profile E Features a smaller edge radius of 3.5 mm, resulting in a profile that is visually closer to a straight line. Its surface offers antibacterial properties. The décor range includes wood-effect, stone-effect, fantasy, and solid-colour designs.
  • Both profiles are based on the same P2 particleboard core, so the choice comes down to the preferred edge geometry and décor design.
